Single Phase Induction Motors Manufacturers
Single-phase induction motors are powered by 220V single-phase AC electricity. The stator contains both a running winding and a starting winding, which generate a rotating magnetic field through capacitor phase-splitting or shaded-pole mechanisms, thereby driving the squirrel-cage rotor. These motors have a simple structure and operate on standard household power supply, making them widely used in small appliances such as fans, small pumps, and air compressors. Compared to three-phase induction motors, single-phase motors have lower efficiency, poorer power factor, and limited output power, thus they are only suitable for low-power applications. They are not used in high-power industrial equipment.
